Griswold, CT Jewett City skatepark opened October 25, 2009. Starting Jan. 1, Griswold will require every person who uses the park to obtain a pass ($10 per year for nonresidents), and skaters younger than 18 to wear a helmet.

The Hartford, CT city council approved a skateboarding task force to study the issue of constructing a skatepark at New Ross, County Wexford Park (Heaven).
